Strength and Conditioning

At Wyndham City Massage & Therapy Clinic we are dedicated to overall health & well being which is essential for optimum function of the human body.
 
Our Soft Tissue Therapist’s are also trained in their chosen expertise of exercise therapy.
 
Strength & Conditioning 
 
Strength and conditioning is the increasing of an athletes performance, this can involve many principles such as working with skills coaches, sorting out different length and strength discrepancies, dietary deficiencies, active relaxation routines and retraining both
postual and core components of the athlete          
 
Strength & Conditioning sessions are available with Mr. John Leckie.
John is a Strength & Conditioning Coach with ASCA.  He has trained many elite athletes, including disabled athletes in various sports.
 
Mr John Leckie is currently training up and coming athletes in many fields,  including local athlete Jesse Gatt. Jesse is a talented Hockey player who is selected for the State Hockey Team.

Clinical Pilates Classes
 
Pilates technique offers a unique method of body control and conditioning, stretching and strengthening the muscles, while improving flexibility and balance.
Pilates is an invaluable system that works in conjunction with other exercise programs, strengthening, realigning and rebalancing the body, improving body awareness, and reducing risk of injury or strain.
 
Clinical Pilates matwork classes are held at Wyndham Leisure & Events Centre with Leanne Taylor­-Leckie. The combination of Leanne’s Soft Tissue knowledge, competitive athletic past and her strong knowledge of the body’s biomechanics make the perspective of Leanne’s classes informative dynamic and an enjoyable experience.
 
Classes are held at 80-82 Derrimut Road, Hoppers Crossing.

Maximum of 15 participants per class in each 1-hour class. Mats are provided for each person.

Personal Training 
 
Personal Training sessions can be performed on both a one to one or small group situations. These sessions are not as specific as strength and conditioning, although are more for the general public who are on a personal quest for themselves. Personal Training sessions encompass nutrition, corrective or posture work, training through injuries of the past, to be motivated and stay motivated to achieve individual goals.

Personal Training Sessions are available in half hour or 1 hour sessions.
 
Aqua Fitness Classes 
 
Aqua Fitness classes are held at Wyndham Leisure & Events Centre with Leanne Taylor-Leckie 80-82 Derrimut Road, Hoppers Crossing.
Leanne’s classes are named HI ENERGY Aqua Fitness, for that exact reason, they are HI ENERGY / MOTIVATION PLUS.
 
The classes are conducted in shallow to medium depth water for a workout experience that is truly unique on cardiovascular, muscular and nervous systems. For those who want the personal challenge to work on their own individual levels in a different and enjoyable environment maybe this is what you are looking for. Classes run for 45 minutes and there is a limit of 25 participants per class

Wyndham City Massage & Therapy Clinic offers a comprehensive “hands on approach” to Musculoskeletal Health in the Werribee / Hoppers Crossing region providing Massage and Remedial Massage and Myotherapy.
 
The Clinic is OPEN 7 DAYS a week with both Male & Female Therapist’s available for serivices including massage and myotherapy.
 
Wyndham City Massage & Therapy is located in Hoppers Crossing,  very accessable to neightbouring  suburbs such as Werribee, Wyndhamvale, Melton, Laverton, Altona,  Altona Meadows, Sanctuary Lakes, Point Cook, Hoppers Crossing
